I have been wanting to do this for years. Pack up the gear and head to upstate NY for the salmon run. A good friend of mine and I plan on making the trip in a few weeks. I heard they put up a great fight. I was thinking of hitting up the Salmon River. Has anyone had the opportunity to go upstate and fish for Salmon?
