We have all had our share of losing equipment or terrible mishaps. Biggest mistake I made was fishing on the rocks in bad weather. A wave came knocked me over. While trying to save myself from going into the ocean, I lost my set up. Worth about $300.

I make mistakes every season. I hope I'm never too "advanced" that I won't admit to them. I think as long as we learn, it's all goog, I mean good! ;)

The last mistake I made was fishin with a hardcore group of guys and not havin the right raingear. I need a drytop soon. I procrastinate when buying things for myself, that's probably why. Raingear is one thing, but you should always have korkers, a safety plan, and at least one person or friend at home who knows the area you're in, when you're out there at night. http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon3.gif

My mistakes usually consist of thinking I know where the fish are. :(

My mistakes are that I usually forget something that I need. The other day, I forgot my pliers and I wanted to change lures so I tried to bite through 50# test flourocarbon and knocked a filling out of my tooth.

 Ouch, maybe you could get an upgrade when you get that filling filled.

Burglar's razor teeth are his weapons of choice (http://ren-guilian.blogspot.com/2009/06/burglars-razor-teeth-are-his-weapons-of.html)

I'm pretty sure one could find a better way to rob people. From the China Daily
A successful burglar in Chongqing municipality has been entering homes with barbed wires because he can cut them with his teeth.
Police found Xiong, 23, a farmer from Leibo county, Sichuan province, and arrested him for his role in several cases.
Police found that Xiong used nothing to break the anti-theft wire meshes but his teeth and stole from homes going back to 2007.

The first time I ever tried to fish from the rocks I fell on a slippery one (no korkers) and sprained my ankle. That's why I'm very happy on my fiberglass jetty with a motor.:D
