:cool: Clean rods after each trip, check your guides for cracks. Use a Q-tip to check the insides for cracks the fibers from the Q-tip will get stuck in any cracks.

I think we sometimes have a tendency to blame other things too quickly if our line breaks, braid frays, or we lose plugs/rigs. Meanwhile the culprit could be as simple as a cracked guide, which will be discovered with regular maintenance. Tropics, thanks for pointing out this basic often neglected part of any trip. :thumbsup:
