Police help fishermen off jetty in Bradley Beach

October 2, 2009

BRADLEY BEACH — At about 7:45 p.m. Friday police responded to a call to help two fisherman off the jetty along Ocean avenue.

Sgt. Theodore Bianchi said the men fishing did not take into account the wind conditions or the tides.

The ocean water had risen above the jetty preventing the men to get back to the beach safely.

The officers at the scene threw ropes to the fisherman to guide them off the jetty.

There were no injuries, Bianchi said.

They should have called the idiot police and been fined by them.

Hello, moon tides?

Hello, moon tides?

Or the police could have waited another half hour and let them walk off themselves as the tide was going out. Would have saved some taxpayer dollars, but then they would have sued the police for a delayed response.:kooky:
