Atlantic Highly Migratory Species News
Please see the attached notice which reminds Atlantic tunas dealer permit holders to comply with mandatory Atlantic bluefin tuna landings reporting requirements. In particular, bluefin tuna landings reports must be submitted to NMFS within 24 hours of receiving an Atlantic bluefin tuna. This information can also be found on the HMS Management Division website at: http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/sfa/hms/breaking_news.htm
This is just a note to say I appreciate when you guys put these things up as well. If you're on the mailing list you'll see that they send you these all the time. Sometimes I just can't keep up with them, and I appreciate those who are posting them up. thanks. :thumbsup:
