Soft plastic baits built to withstand Punishment!

OK people, we have another new member here, OneMoreCast (just by his name alone I like the guy, how many times has that "onemorecast" kept you out fishin for another hour?) :thumbsup: :laugh:

As I understand it, he started a company to market and sell plastic baits and some other things when he saw how flimsy some of the other plastics on the market were. It's amazing how easily some plastic baits get destroyed, costing fishermen money as they have to replace them after one or 2 uses.

It's mostly targeted towards fresh water fishermen, but the possibilities for the salt are there.

I haven't met him yet so I can't vouch for his products. He seems like a guy who takes pride in his business. He started that business because he and the people who work for him love to fish. :fishing:

One of his biggest products is the "Wakkistikk", a reinforced plastic body lure, that allegedly holds up better than regular soft plastics. As he is a new member, I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has used his products.

They offer some different things. If you're a big time freshwater fisherman, why not take a look, and even the saltwater guys might find something that interests them.

It sounds great, but I don't see how anything that isn't a bucktail can hold up to angry bluefish. I think tackle shop owners love those bluefish because they know we have to keep buying new ones when they get shredded.:don't know why:

Our concerted efforts for lure building are within freshwater limits. The only real crossover to salt is with our soft plastic swimbaits. I dont imagine anyone here {(predominantly a salty bunch :)} having used our baits before but you never know. Most of our sales are out of state.

We are in the process of incorporating our inserts into all of our soft plastics and be ready for the winter fishing flea markets and online sales. As for a 'Bluefish Stamp of Toughness', its not designed for that but it would be an interesting field test. (and an excuse to get to the beach one more time) We'll keep you up to date on that one.

Our epoxy coated lures (weighted hooks, jigs, spinnerbaits, etc.) are just as tough. I will sit down later and put some time into making it easier to view our products on S&A but I will leave you with one link to a video. We beat up our lures with a framing hammer and didnt even chip the finish coat. We take pride in making a tournament grade durable product at a price you can afford.
