I always wanted to try that, but thought it was harder than they show it to be. I guess that's because they have a lot of experience doing it. Nice video.

What's amazing to me is he did it without a rag holding the eel. Those suckers are slimy. That guy has some skills. I want to try fishing rigged eels or eel skins this year. Thanks for posting.

As with anything a little practice and it shouldn't be to hard. My question is How long will the skin keep? How fast will it dry out?

Rip you can keep the single eelskins in a saltwater brine solution in your refrigerator. Be sure to talk to the wife about it first.
