My house is heated with oil. I want to convert to gas. Anyone have any idea as to how much this can cost?

Do you have a steam or hot water system now? If you have steam are you converting to hot water? Depending on the the work that needs to be done it can cost anywhere from $8000 to $20,000.

The markup for labor as much as 30-40%. If you have relatives or friends in the business, price the job out yourself as to costs, save at least $1000 doing the demo.
