Surf Carts

Is it my imagination or are there less surf carts being used?

I think a lot of us start out with a cart of some sort. I did, it was a converted wagon with bigger wheels. As you get more experience, you see the insanity of dragging all that gear for great distances. Then you either get a beach pass for 4wd, or learn to bring less gear.
