Custom Plugging Rod

I'm thinking of building a 10 foot plugging stick over the winter. I'm interested in using the Seeker CSW1008, or the Baby Ulua blanks. Do any of you have any experience with these blanks?

I heard some good things about them. I'm doing some research now.
