That's a great fish. Wish I could get one that size!

Small-Fry Striper

A fish of a lifetime (and potential 55-pound "Small Fry" World Record) as told by Capt. Blaine Anderson of Anderson Guide Services.

We loaded up with scup and made our way out to the reefs with father and 10-year-old son Alan Guild Sr. and Jr.

We had a double on the first drift - it's always nice to get the skunk out of the boat right off the bat.

The striper measured 52" and had a girth of 29". Keep in mind, Alan is only 10, he 3-wayed with 10 ounces better than many of the adults I've had on board.

From start to finish the kid was outstanding. I swear I had a tear in my eye as I was reaching for my camera.

Way to go Alan!
