will this line become obsolete?

I was wondering if Mono will become obsolete in the future?
I find I mostly use braid now.

I use mono when it's real cold out or fishing for schoolies early and late seasoin. I don't think it will wear out its usefulness. There are a couple other applications as well.

I doubt it mono has some good applications for different types of fishing over braid and the new mono is pretty impressive compared to the old pink or green ande I used in the past.I use it for bait fishing still and also diamond jigging in Montauk in the rips.

I doubt it for casting repeatedly with a conventional you can't beat mono. Also for fishing in strong current over a rocky bottom mono can keep a bucktail off the bottom where braid buts it in the rocks do to it's thin diameter

i dont think so guys like me will keep buying it i dont like braid and will never use it :(
