Colors for dirty water

What colors do you use for muddy or sandy water after a storm like this one?

I usually will let it settle out for a couple of days but I would use yellow or chartreuse or plain old white.

chartreuse and white but last week in dirty water we hammered them on red and red only

i think these guys have pretty much said it not to beat a dead horse but, bright colors would make sense because of the decreased visibility. Also when a noreaster comes through it usually puts the bait in deeper water and muddies up the coast

Here's a fisherman who pays attention to what happens when a noreaster comes in. :clapping: For the first few hours with the barometric pressure changes fishing may be good, or great, depending on if you can find any bait that's not moving into deeper water. After that you might as well sit home and repair tackle for the next few days, as others have said, because the only fish you'll catch from shore are the ones you buy in the market on the way home. ;)

Doin good dark thanks! the last fish i cuaght was 11 days ago in rhode island 37''. A good way to end the season as far as im concerned, but a certain goog accompanying me had the camera far away from where i said we should fish. Im kinda depressed the season is pretty much at an end for me here on the cape. Maybe somethin kicks in the next few days, but this noreaster didnt help anything for the late season angler on the cape. looks like im just going to have to move to someplace on the chesapeake, like, tomorrow so i can get a good start to next season :don't know why:

Sometimes orange works for me, the orange tiger bomber, or the orange robertstanger for the bluefish.

My favorite muddy water color has always been school bus yellow followed by red.

Seems from the comments here if you had a choice, the best colors would be a yellow/red combo for water like this.

my all time fave is either solid white or rudolph and BIG or bigger than medium.

Orange and white is my favorite color. Something about the combination that gets the fish chasing in the dirty water.
