what is the difference fishing with bloodworms, sandworms and earthworms? did anyone ever use earthworms for salt water fishing?

Earthworms would certainly be cheaper, but they don't hold up in salt water. I have used them fishing for snappers in the back bay where you only need a piece of them.
In my opinion, bloodworms are too small, though they are great in the early season for small bass when the water is cold.
My favorite is sandworms. They stay on the hook, have a lot of natural juices, and they catch. They do get expensive. If you have a good supplier, try to get a flat of them and split with your friends. That's what I do.
