Man rescued off Beach Haven coast by good Samaritan

BEACH HAVEN -- An unresponsive 55-year-old man was rescued by a good Samaritan after his 18-foot boat sank off the coast here today.
The man was recovered by the good Samaritan shortly after the U.S. Coast Guard received reports of the boat taking on water around 11:40 a.m. The unresponsive man was transferred to a rescue boat, where members of the Coast Guard performed CPR.
He was then taken to the Beach Haven Yacht Club. Emergency response workers continued efforts to revive the man there.
No further information on the man's condition was available.
