How should the search be handled.

I saw a boat come in yesterday to a dock. The coast guard seemed to be following them in. The were about 12 officials there to meet them. I stayed around to watch and everything seemed ok by the time they were let go. It made them look like common criminals. How do you think the CG and DEC should handle their inspections?

Was it a party boat? If so then, there is a lot to go through on a party boat. All of the fares, captains paperwork etc.

If it was a rec boater then maybe someone made a call or something.
