Pounds or inches

I measure my fish in inches at the beach. I enjoy guessing the weight of the catches when I get home. It's interesting to see how close I come. Which do you prefer pounds or inches.

I like inches, but once the fish get above 36 inches I get very interested in their weight.

i try to get both size and weight if i can so i get an idea of the size fish in that spot:fishing:

I have 30 and 40 inch marks on my rods for a quick measurent on the beach. If I keep a fish I may weigh it .
