Should I be treating my waders with some sort of protectant once the season is done?

Usually a good fresh water rinsing and hang upside down to dry will do it I guess it depends on the mfg. suggestions, rinsing & hanging thats all I do.All I know is that the newer neoprene waders suck they all leak regardless of how well you take care of them my last 2 pairs of Hodgeman leaked.Done with them I'll go breathable and where more underneath.

Try Cabelas for neoprenes. I have had mine over ten years and I am just starting to get some dampness when out all day. Hodgeman is bottom of the barrel quality.
As far as breathables go, you shouldn't have to do anything if you rinse them and take care of them.

My breathables are Cabelas and never had a problem with them,I'm done with Hodgeman. And Cabelas stands behind their stuff never a problem if you are not satisfied.
