Great pics gjb! I like the one of the lighted dock at night. Night shots are hard to take because of the longer exposure or you need to be near a light source. Did you use a tripod when you took that?

I'm kind of a fake skier... no real challenging terrain as I do live in south joisey (edit: apologize for lousy phone spellcheck) :)

one of these days will head up to New York to hit a decent track. Only been on a groomed xc track once up in Lake Placid and
it was a blast. Gave up downhill due to knees and being a klutz about 10 years ago, so cross country is a nice alternative
and healthier all around!

up to Red Bank's Marine Park and watching the ice boats is a real throwback experience.

Brrrr! How many hours to drive to buffalo?

From where we are, it's 8 1/2 hrs including a quick stop or 2 for gas.

This was a brutal winter, I just warmed up along with everyone else this week, I never got over the Buffalo cold as we came back
and the arctic air followed us down :)

The weekend we were up apparently hit several Buffalo record lows (of course) and then we come back to NJ and we hit more record lows.

At any rate, my daughter is moving to lawngaisland in a month, and I plan on using their place as a stop off on the way to the Holy City.
