Do you tape?

Whenever I go fishing for long periods of time back to back I have trouble with my finger getting raw. Wet lines and hours of fishing really cuts me up. Do any of you guys tape up your finger and what do you use, hockey tape?

I only use Johnson & Johnson Waterproof adhisive tape around my casting finger. I use braid.

I the aquaskinz finger guard takes a little bit of getting used to but it doesn't fall off when your hands get wet.I think Gamakatsu makes one also.

After trying many things, this has been the best way for me to get minimal damage to the index finger.

Many braid cuts come from loose drags during the the cast
