Montauk cod?

Has anyone been cod fishing in Montauk? I heard there is alot going on right now.

The last few days hasn't been that great from what I read. We're coming off a full moon, that might have something to do with it. It should get better in the next few. Some good boats are any of the Viking fleet or the Rosie or Celtic Quest. The cod have been running from some market sized to the teens. The bite was good around last Sun, and then slowed as it got closer to today. You can't go wrong with any of those boats. Some cod guys got on the Rosie, good boat.:thumbsup:
