Guys and girls, if you can make it there before the snow, this show is one of the best of the LI shows. It's run by Willy Young and the NYCRF.
www.nycrf.org (http://www.nycrf.org)

He and the NYCRF guys have fought for access at Brookhaven, LI. and are a great bunch of fishermen.

"Something for everyone", there's even a fishing clinic for kids.

Here is is:
Just to get a chance to meet Willy Young would be worth the price of admission alone. He's one of LI's most active fishermen when it comes to fishermens' rights. His organizing and protests have paved the way for much of LI to have access opened to fishermen.

He's also a great fisherman with several trophy fish to his credit, and a helluva nice guy. Stop by and say "Hi!" to Willie. :HappyWave:

Great seminars and some of the best plugbuilders in the area, check it out:

Take a few minutes to stop by the Stripercoast Surfcasters table at the show. I'm one of the founding members, and proud to be associated with that club of hardcore surfcasters.

The Long Island Fishing Expo will be held tomorrow through Sunday at Queens College just off the LIE. For info and directions go to LongIslandFishingExpo.com (http://www.longislandfishingexpo.com/)

Make sure you stop by the Stripercoast Surfcasters table and say hello, I will be there all weekend.

We will have a plug raffle with three different lots of plugs and teasers to give away. All plugs and the teasers are made by our members. You plug afficionados have to see the PVC plugs. Some good stuff.

Stop by and say Hi to Frankiesurf and the guys, some of whom are members here as well. :HappyWave:

The President, Gunny AKA Stripercoast1, is a retired Gunny sergeant who has been fishing since he was 6 years old, an amazing rod-builder, creative plug and bucktail maker, and one of the best guides on the coast of Rhode Island. The man can smell fish when they're around. :fishing:

A little about them:

What is the Stripercoast Surfcaster club?

Just a reminder that today is the last day of this show. Feedback from guys who went said it was a decent show, good seminars, and lots of different plugs from plugbuilders.

I may be able to hit it up today, gotta take care of some mechanical problems first. :burn:

If ya go there, say Hi to Frankie and the Stripercoast crew.

Say Hi to Willie if ya see him. The man is an icon of LI surfcasting. :clapping:
