They came out nice. For those without a lathe, those kits definitely bring making customized plugs within the reach of a lot more people. :thumbsup:

Good way to get started & actually see whats involved before you make the plunge for the lathe and start banging your head on the wall to get everything right and start turning your own.He has quite a few different kits the hard work is done for you.Just seal for a couple of days ,dry for a couple, prime a few coats and a quick sanding w/ some 150 grit or 220 & 400 if you really want to frame them. I want to fish them so masterpiece work is not needed in my case.Close is good enough.

I think you might find the hard work is the sealing and finishing. I can bang out 50 bodies in a couple of hours machined thru drilled etc. My problem is I get backed up in the sealing and finishing room. Nice stuff.
