favorite artificials for night fishing in the spring?

I fish bait a lot. This lure thing is more of a mystery art. I have some bombers, and some poppers. Last year I caught a couple of monster bluefish on them and had some fun. For you guys in the know who fish artificials, what are some of your spring favorites for night fishing?

It all depends on where I am fishing,I like to liveline bunker at night in my spring spot. I like to fish very early morning w/white SS floating poppers and creek chub striper strikes if they won't take a floater, at dusk into early darkness large swimmers the predominant bait is large bunker this is in a river though.

One thing you have to consider, they behave totally different in the ocean then they do the bay. The ocean they will hit clams and usually wont touch a lure for a while into spring, But i catch my first bass usually around April 1 on plastics, alwmost always on flats in the back bay that warm up faster.
