:fishing:This storm was amazing to me. I live at the back of the bay and the 70mph winds sounded like I was behind a jet engine all day. I just knew there had to be some real damage happening. Here are some pics of the spyhouse pier and the Atlantic highlands marina. That strom torn through it like the bulkheads and pier were twigs. I may head out today just to look at more areas. Hopefully it is not much worse out there.

I heard there's enough timber floating around in the water back there to build a few houses. :scared:

I think you're right about the gusts up to 70mph. I was out that day in S Jersey. The winds coming down the river sounded like either a jet engine or what you get with a tornado. It was intense! People are saying it's the worst damage they've seen in years, or since the northeaster storm of 1991.

I feel bad for people who live close to the water back there...:(

Some friends keep sending me pics of all the debris strewn around. I'll try to post some when I get a chance. Anyone else has any pics of the damage, feel free to post up.

Great pics Cardoc. You have a good eye for framing the shot.

Thanks for sharing that cardoc765. They really suffered through that northeaster. They just declared Atlantic Highlands a disaster area.

Have any of the piers been cleaned up yet?

Buckethead if you are looking to fish a clean pier try the Keansburg pier. The Spy house one and the port Monmouth one still need to be worked on.
