clams and hooks

What are some of the ways you use to keep clams on the hooks? I usually use rubber bands from braces. They are small enough and sturdy.

Salt those clams they won't go no where.

I like elastic string. You can salt them as surfstix recommends, but if you don't have the time to do that use the elastic. The elastic will also come in handy for keeping crabs or shedders on the hook as well.
