Nice work.
Hey Monty, how big are these, it's hard to tell from the pic.
Are you making any grass shrimp or spearing size? If so I think it's time we load your bag up with them and take a road trip a little South of us. ;)

Thanks Dark.
I have been tying most on 4/0 hooks.
But some on 2/0, which are close to spearing size, or atleast that is what I was shooting for.
I'll post a pic with measurements later, tell me what you think of the pic.
I am starting to get antsy, got to hit the water soon.

Darkskies,
Looks like between 2 and 2 1/2 inches, depends where the profile starts, fades, I guess.
Would have guessed closer to 1 1/2 inches.
Funny how that worked out.
What size and color you thinking would do it?
I have olive/white and chartreuse and black this size.

Monty, you must have read my mind, this is the one I was thinking of...

http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=10512&thumb=1&d=1269219017 (http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=10512&d=1269219017)

I would say something closer to 1 1/2" would work be an ideal grass shrimp profile. The longer ones 2-3" would make better spearing profiles, but with a little less hair, ever made any like that?

I'm going to dig through my flies and try to post a few. Tony sold me a fly rod and I want to get started though it will be "cast of the goog" :bucktooth: for awhile. :o

Someone posted something here yesterday that I just saw, and it gave me an idea. http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon3.gif I have a thought how to get those out in the shadows without a fly rod. I might try to put something together soon. I'll keep ya posted.

Still going, I'm still tying and tying and tying

:lookhappy: ;) :clapping:  :HappyWave:
