I was blessed yesterday. I received my first custom rod. I am so excited I can't contain myself.

My rod was built by Finchaser. He made it especially light so that I can cast without hurting my shoulder.

The detail of the design just amazes me. He took me out to a park to try casting it. I have to say I can't ever remember casting that distance in my life. He gave me some great casting tips which helped tremendously.

If you ever want to purchase a custom rod, contact Finchaser.

Thanks, Finchaser :heart:

Nice looking chevron decorative wrap on that. I admire that work as I am starting to build rods myself and can appreciate the time and detail that goes into it. I hope you enjoy that rod for many years and christen it with a cow :thumbsup:

Congratulations! Finchaser makes a great rod, enjoy it.
While all fishing is very enjoyable, when you are casting with a quality rod, it enhances the experience. That sounds a little fruity, but I think you know what I mean.

Fin said the rod would be balanced perfectly. For those who aren't sure how much that makes a difference, Pebbles has shoulder problems. Yesterday she was able to cast and cast metals and poppers with no fatigue at all.

She asked me to post this pic showing how light to hold and well-balanced it is. Here she is holding it with one finger.
Thanks again Fin. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I was walking along holding my fishing pole and remembered how Fin, showed me that it could balance. I decided to give it a try on my own. I am amazed, perfectly balanced.

If you ask me I have the best rod in the world!!:)
