If you caught your state records fish would you:
1) take a quick pic and release it
or
2) bring it in and go have it weighed to go on record?

I want to try to be honest here. I have never caught a record fish fresh or salt, so I don't have that experience. I feel if I had the workd record striped bass, I would have to keep it and weigh it. For me it would be a lucky break as being different from a guy who is out there every night and trying for years for the big cow.
If it was a state record fish, I might not know what the record was, so I might be more likely to take a picture and release it. Especially if it was a female.

I would have to keep it. That is a once in a lifetime experience. I would want to show it off.

I would keep it. I don't have a lot of big fish under my belt either, and I would like to have one record to remember.

As shameful as it is I would want to keep it and weigh it in.
