What is a mistake you have made when fishing? We all make mistakes so lets help each other out by letting them be known. That way others can learn by our mistakes.

I sometimes forget to check my lines and knots. This has caused me to lose some nice fish.

Setting the hook too quick early in the season the bass are still a little sluggish until the water warms up.

Changing lures and forgetting to adjust the drag. I have gotten plenty of backlash do to my failure to make a simple adjustment.
