Here's a pic of Captain Rich Swisstack's world record weakfish, caught in the early morning hours of 5/6/08.
19lbs, 12 oz when weighed in at the Tackle Box shop 4 hours after they got it. It could have weighed closer to 20 lbs at the time they pulled it in.
For those who don't know "Swiss" he and the guys who he fishes with are hard-core, spending up to 8 hours at a time on the sand.
They fish in all kinds of weather for big fish, no sissies in that group! They were catching fish back in March when the winds were blowing 40mph, and the temps were cold enough to keep most guys at home watching TV.
That's truly a fish of a lifetime, and Swiss deserves credit for helping the guy catch it. The pics I put up have the record fish first, caught by Dave Alu. Swiss is in the red hat. Congratulations, man, you deserve it!
