2010 updates for access

Demo will open April 1 with 4x4 access from the east end of parking field 2 .
Gilgo will be temporarily closed. Access at Demo will be limited. The Sore Thumb will be closed for now.

That will make for crowds at some good spots. I'll be getting my pass next week. Anyone else know any news lets hear it.

You can't yet go all the way to Demo. THis is due to the trucks that are bringing sand from there to Field 5. The trucks are using the access road which is why the access is on the east side of the Field 2 parking lot.

I am not sure if they have a sign up by the air station but for the time the trucks are going in and out they do not want anyone using it. This is just due to the safety factor with these huge earth movers that are being utilized.
