How does braid effect the guides over time?

I've used the same stick consistantly, (Mar/April till Dec/Jan) not casual, for the past 11 seasons, the only stick I use all season. I see no indication of wear/grooves at all, and the guides are checked after every use. I use 30lb. PP.

I have had no problem with my ceramic guides.
