Coast Guard rescues man from fishing boat off Barnegat Light

A 42-year-old man was taken to a hospital by medevac helicopter Wednesday after sustaining injuries to his forearm while aboard a fishing boat 40 miles east of Barnegat Light.
The crew of the 88-foot Kayla Rose radioed the Coast Guard when the injured man began going in and out of consciousness.
A rescue crew from the Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City responded and the man was taken to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center there.
The man's name was not released.
