Is it true that smaller bass swim closer to the top and larger ones find their home on the bottom?

Can anyone tell me about Hi -Lo Rigs, how they work and if it produces?

a hi-lo rig keep your bait off the bottom they work nice too.

the weight is at the end then go up the line 8 to 10 inches you make a loop thats for the hook then you go up the line and put another hook . some use 50lb or 60lb line the 60 lb is some what harder to to work with ,,. if you dont get it i will find you a pic to go by if you need more info pm me:HappyWave:

They are good for working two different levels of the water column by setting your hooks apart from each other basically covering more ground if the fish are a little higher in the water column they will see the higher bait.
