Poaching

What is considered to actual definition of poaching? Is it just taking more fish than you need or does it have to include selling?

POACHING is the illegal take of game or fish.. i got this off a game warden site...wat it means to me is taking fish over ur limit, undersize fish or taking protected fish. poaching really has nothing to do wit selling of game fish that is a different crime..altough one could poach a fish to sell. that would be a crime x2..if one takes more fish then they can eat (who is the judge of this) as long as its 2 fish a day they are not poaching.
