This was posted somewhere else.

"I walk more towards the point casting a 3 oz kastmaster w/ green tail and caught another cocktail. The Guy next to me fishing large chunks of bunker hooked a 40in Striper. I decided to change over and put on a chunk of bunker i casted and about 5 min later My line was moving after being slack. Something was swimming with my bunker chunk. i was a large striped bass. Actually my first keeper bass. I dragged it to my car and took to michaels bait store. measured 48in and weighed 49lbs."

I think it is great that he caught that fish but I wonder why he would not throw it back? Shouldn't a fish that size be let go to make more fishies?

Sorry Pebbles, I would like to release a big fish, but for me that 40lber would be a fish of a lifetime. There is no way I could let it go.
