Hey folks I don't know if you heard but there is a decent tuna bite at the Cape right now. Some fish have been caught 100-220bs, the tuna are mixed in with the bass, feeding in close to the shore on sandeels. Take the time to make a drive up here if you get a chance.

It's hard for me to understand the concept of tuna feeding close to shore when in NJ you have to travel 60-90 miles offshore to get them. Thanks for the head's up Charlie.

Happens here in the fall we caught them for over a week in the Seagirt reef area and in front of the seaside pier last year to 60 pounds.

Five years ago I caught a 70# bluefin on the Shrewsbury rock on a shad rig
Also caight a 277# bluefin 8 miles off of Momouth beach on a jig
