Stopped down to see some friends on the Newark police force the other day, right before the Ironbound section was getting ready for a blowup celebration with Brazil's victory over Korea in the World Cup semi-finals.
God those guys are lucky!
They were hanging out, (on duty and working hard, of course :d). They hadda be there for the crowd control. Within a few minutes of me stopping by, they were all dispatched to various Ironbound areas to assist in crowd control.
Yep it's a job with a lot of responsibility. I salute those guys and the risks they take. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
There are also quite a few fringe benefits...:naughty:
