I don't do that a lot, baitstealer, so maybe somebody with more experience can answer. In the few times I have fished a jetty where it wasn't too bad to walk out on, I threw bombers, and also those metal lipped swimmers, the fat ones. They seem to be the most popular choice when I see guys fishing at night. Hope that helps. I like the idea of fishing bombers because if you screw up and lost one it's not that big of a deal.

Darters are good if the surf is rough. If not, try throwing a mag darter, they are one of the most versatile lures out there.

Mag darters for me. Caught a big bass on one not so long ago.

Depends on the jetty, is it an inlet jetty or a jetty on an open beach? Is there a lot of current and rips? Or is it pretty calm? For the fast water, rips, current jetty's I would go with bucktails, darters, cowboys, and other plugs that go deep. For calm water I would use metal lips, and bombers/rapalas.
