I read a couple of posts here how the DEP said towns could decide how to grant access, and to who. If you are mad about that, please take a few seconds to fill out this online survey I found. Tell them exactly what you think, and let your voice be heard. Thanks guys!

The NJ Marine Sciences Consortium/NJ Sea Grant is conducting a public access survey for NJ beachgoers. It is being given at beach access points along the coast and is also online at
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/beachaccess (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/beachaccess) Please forward the survey link to anyone who might be interested.

Thank You!

Is the end result going to have a negative impact on our fishing?

I don't think so. As it is now they can close beach access whenever they think it's appropriate, so I think it would be a good idea to fill these surveys in. Fill it in for every beach you fish at if you have the time. They need to see that there are a lot of us fisher folks out there, and we spend money in those communities. I filled it out, took less than 2 minutes.

Feel free to be as candid as you want in the section they have reserved at the end for comments (but please try to leave any profanities out of it) :)
