Rod rack

I want to build a rod rack on the ceiling in my garage. When setting up the system is there a certain distance the rack holders should be to prevent warping of the rods?

The distance would depend on the length of the rods being hung up unless they are all the same length and if they are sagging in the mid section put another hanger up that is open rather than shut to keep access easy or remove the reels.Personally mine are all hung w/ the car hanging straps for rods that Cabelas sells I really don't think they warp but who knows never happened to me.

Those straps are a great idea. I use coated hooks from Home Depot which also work good. I use three to four hooks per rod. As surfstix said it depends on the size of the rod.
