what is the correct form?

What is the correct form when casting out your line. Should the pole go all the way back over your shoulder or should I go straigh up and then cast. I'm having some trouble and thought t might be my form and not being able to get the rod to load.

Either way will work. I use both ways. If I'm by myself I'll swing it out and to my right a little and then snap-cast it over my head while feathering the line with my middle finger on my right hand.
