algae bloom in raritan bay?

I was out over the weekend, and the water in close to shore was all brown. It looked like a lot of algae. I hope it doesn't get too hot and take the oxygen away so we have a fish kill. Did anyone else notice this?

The Highlands Harbor has some pretty dirty water too.
