View Full Version : Prayers for Finchaser

He's back in the hospital, went under the knife at 5am this morning.

He crabs about everything else except for his medical issues. Some of ya's might know that, he doesn't want any sympathy from anyone. He's a tough old bird, and I believe he's gonna get through this.

But if you feel like saying a prayer or 2, it can't hurt. http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon3.gif Under the best circumstances, he might not be back fishin till the end of November.

Hang in there, Ol Grouchy, thoughts and prayers. :HappyWave:
Waitin for the phone call that tells me you're OK.

From the stories I have read here if you brought Killie to a trout pond teeming with hatchery-raised fish, hooked the fish, handed the rod to Killie, he allegedly couldn't land the fish without a phone call to Finchaser asking him where to put it. So, no offense intended, but good luck with that. ;)

Hope it's not too serious, and that you are soon up and running around. In my opinion you add a lot to this site, and your "grouchy" (Dark's words) commentary and banter and ball busting back and forth is an entertaining part of coming here. Thanks for the laughs and get well soon.

Just got off the phone with him, sending him home maybe today. For those who have his # please hold your phone calls till tomorrow, he's still in a little pain.

Feel free to PM or e-mail him, he would love to hear from ya's. He's gonna have a lot of free time on his hands as he recovers and can't work for awhile. So you're not being a pain by contacting him regularly. This is the time to ask him advice about fishin, ya just might learn something, and he definitely has the time to answer ya's. :fishing:

^ I'm just a simple hack, I look for an area where the fishfinder is black with bait, drop some jigs, I don't like to talk about all the times I get skunked or only get skates and dogs, but sometimes I'm a hero.
I'm a little concerned with how to find fish if my electronics ever go on the fritz, though. I've heard that finchaser is a human fishfinder, and you don't have to worry about short circuits. So if you have a direct connection to guaranteed fish, how about hooking us up?:d

A nurses union in The Netherlands is launching a campaign on Friday to counter patient demands that sexual services should be part of their standard of care. The NU’91 union is calling the campaign ‘I Draw The Line Here’. The ad campaign will feature a young woman covering her face with crossed hands. The whole issue came to (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/netherlands/7424967/Dutch-nurses-sexual-services-are-not-part-of-our-job.html) a head last week when the union received a complaint from a 24-year-old female nurse who said that a disabled 42-year-old man had asked her to provide sexual services as part of his in-home care.

According to the complaint, the young nurse had (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/2010/03/12/2010-03-12_dutch_nurses_need_public_service_campaign_stat_ dont_have_to_perform_sexual_acts_.html) witnessed some of the man’s other nurses offering him sexual gratification as part of his care. According to her complaint, when she refused to do likewise he tried to have her fired for being unfit to provide care. NU’91 released (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35822457/ns/health-more_health_news/) a statement that these types of services are not part of the job responsibilities of carers and nurses.
Just to be clear, we understand this has to be a hard pill to swallow for the patients in need of some relief. For what its worth, nurses are still required to wash their hands before providing services.
The case has been (http://www.moonbattery.com/archives/2010/03/dutch-nurses.html) reported to the police and has made international news because its, well, seductive. Enjoy the entirely gratuitous sexy nurse photo above and watch the video report about the Dutch patients, sexual services denied by nurses below.
