Blues & Weakfish in surf

IBSP Followed small blues and Weakfish down the beach heading south late afternoon.They were right in the wash, got them on a crippled herring jigged on the bottom.

Wow, it's nice to hear news about weakfish. How large were the biggest weakies? I read reports of boaters hitting them pretty steadily in that area all the way up to SRI. :HappyWave:Welcome to Stripers & Anglers, Bobmtv.

Bob is my brother inlaw, he seems to always catch fish (amazes me with his consistancy, a very good fisherman). I always have a great time fishing with him, riding Island Beach most of the time we have had many memorable trips, incredible great times (best times of my life). He really has a knack for finding and catching fish.
He is also the one who introduced me to surf fishing :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Very nice report bobmtv. There are a lot of small weakfish in the surf lately, a good target for Dads and their sons. Welcome to Stripers and anglers.
