What do you consider a trophy striper?

I consider a Striper 50 inches or bigger a "trophy size". A bass that size should be 40-45 pounds and that is a great accomplishment from the surf, especially if caught on an artificial.

To me a trophy is any fish over 40 pounds. Lately they have been getting some big bass this year, like 50 and 60pounds, especially in the spring. So maybe the bar has been raised.

I am from the old school. A trophy fish to me is a 50lb bass or bigger.
