I say this week. or middle of December at the latest.
I heard the fat lady warming up this morning.
The weather predictions say this will be a tough winter.
I'm not looking forward to it, to say the least.http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon9.png

Oh please, you guys don't know how lucky you are. We haven't had fish for a month now, they're all down by you. And we don't start getting any decent bass till May, when you get yours in March and April. I can't feel sorry for that.:kooky:

They're delusional, pot-head hippies.

I say you should include all bass caught from land, inlets, or bridges, no?

Unless it warms up a bit there won't be a lot of action from here on in. Might go back to fishing worms or clams to get one last 2010 bass.

The OGB said yesterday his log shows for the last few years, surf action shuts down between Dec 13-19. I tend to agree with that... the action is winding down. Any further predictions?

I will be fishing on my xmas Vacation. I know the water Temperature at the Buoy dipped to 48.5 deg on Sunday night Monday morning and Fish were still caught on plugs I wish I knew what the actual surf temperature were. I guess if the water Temps drop below 45 it will be game over for plug fishing. I'm still very anxious to get out. It’s going to take awhile to get weaned off of the idea of fishing.

I say Dec 30. I just found a house fly in my house that was as big as a beetle. One of those big horse fly type of nasty flies. By this time of year they are all usually dead or gone from our area. Not this one. He flew around me and dared me to kill him. I missed. Time to get the heavy artillery out!
