Anyone ever fish this plug or anything like it?
Looks like it can be popped to get attention and swam.

:HappyWave: Kitty doing much better, 80% of the way through it. I'll keep putting the frieking ointment on her eyeball through Sunday, should be 100% healed then:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

Many builders make em with a lip. Here's an example from the Habs site:

Seems like a great way to deliver your sandeel or soft plastic presentation.

And I hear they work well in the fall.
Here's a pic someone sent me.

They're also a popular profile of guys targeting muskies and pike.

As for the salt, ya can't cast em very far, but in your favorite currents :fishing: they might be very productive.

Darter/popper with a tail? Great concept.
Did you swim it yet or is it in the line-up for 2011?
God bless your patience for keeping up with the kitty's ointment. How many scratches do you have on your arms now? :)

Who makes it, Monty? I would fish that slow and low, and has been said, in some current.

No, did not swim it, just found it. I like it, think I can pop it and swim it in rough water, white water. Since I got all these blanks (below), I'll try to make something similar with a few (as soon as I figure a way to drill them ).

And the cat takes the ointment on the eyeball great. Its more my stress(putting something on an eyeball) than anything. She sits there and lets me put it on (much better patient than some human beings). She is doing better, was running around and playing a lot today.

A cow bass should smash the crap out of that in the spring. It looks just like an eel.

Which ever way you decide to do it you must clear the bit frequently or it will want to walk out of the side of the plug.
