H Bruce Franklin to speak in Rochelle Park on Feb 15

Bruce Franklin, author of Menhaden: The Most Important Fish in the Sea, will be the guest speaker at Tuesday night's meeting of the Salt Water Anglers of Bergen County in the American Legion Hall, 33 West Passaic St., Rochelle Park at 8 p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the forage fish that attracts stripers and blues to our area, and the industrial fishery that threatens them. Bump for a good post. I recently read it too. It's a shame they can't get him as a spokesperson for all the marine environment that is being destroyed by the sand replenishment in moco.
